Sunless Tanning Prep

DO NOT come with a sunburn! If you have had one in the last two weeks please advise your spray tan artist and they may advise you of the results that may occur with sunburnt skin.

your face and body ideally 6 hrs prior to your sunless tan. We reccomend you use a loofa, dry brush or mitt.

 It is best to not use oil-based exfoliants or any lotions prior as they can block the tanning process, leaving a residue between your skin and the tanning solution. 

For best results shave or wax at least one day prior to your spray tan appointment.

Ideally all other personal services should be completed prior to your spray tan ie, waxing, sugaring, mani, pedi, massages, hair, etc... at least 6 hrs or the day before. If you complete the same day avoid the use of oil based lotions during these appointments that may leave a residue that will inhibit the tan from adhering. You spray tan should be the last thing you do before your event if possible.

 Wear dark loose fitting clothing after the session if possible. It is best not to wear white for your spray tanning session. 

Some clients choose to go nude and some wear underwear or a swimsuit during their spray tan. Men must wear a thong, boxers or shorts. Please note that whatever you wear, you will have tan-lines.  

Your palms, feet, lips, cuticles, and elbows will be carefully prepped with organic barrier lotions and oils to prevent any unnatural colouring. As you are being spray tanned, you’ll be instructed to move into a few easy poses to ensure perfect coverage, following the natural lines and composition of your body.
